AdSense revenue drop after enabling HTTPS on blogger custom domain website causing pageview zero

This is an extension to my earlier blog of enabling https on custom blogger website

https enabling for blogger website with custom domain

After enabling HTTPS I have updated ads.txt in AdSense as it was giving warning since long , which took 2 days to get authorized.

Above changes have caused zero page views although impression count was non-zero.

In Google AdSense, a page view is counted each time a user views a page that displays Google ads. This is regardless of how many ads are on the page.

An impression in Google AdSense is a metric that counts the number of times an ad is displayed on a website.

As am immediate action i went to Google Search Console and look for indexing pages rejection status , which was pointing to my recent change to https enabling.

As HTTPS is recommended by google for security reasons so i don't wanted to rollback to HTTP completely , so i took few of the below steps to reduce impact and allow google to perform re-indexing and crawling to improve page views.

Step 1. verified robots.txt using <websitename>/robots.txt after disabling custom robots.txt and header tags

Below output is allowing everyone to except <websitename>/search* which was fine

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google
Disallow:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /search
Allow: /

Sitemap: http://www.moreajays.com/sitemap.xml

Step 2. Inside blogger settings HTTPS redirect has been disabled which will allow http traffic to remain on http without redirecting to HTTPS , which will help backlinks and indexing to remain valid for AdSense Ads.

Step 3. Submitted http pages for re-indexing and crawling in Google Search Console

Step 4. Monitoring the page views in  AdSense , which are returning slowly.

Hope Above steps helps to get back on AdSense revenue , will keep this blog updated for further outcome.
